Armit Wines is very well known within the wine world. They decided the time was right to freshen up their current website with a complete redesign enhancing the user journey and highlighting the brand.
Armit Wines is one of the UK's leading Fine Wine Merchants. Their website was starting not to reflect this, with no clear user journey and a website that didn't look as elegant as the brand behind it.
Their website was already integrated with a custom made eCommerce platform which they wanted to keep. They were looking for a company with the vision to completely redesign the look of their website, enhance their brand and include new more engaging functionalities.
Once designed this then had to be built within HTML, CSS and jQuery with the overall aim this could then be incorporated to work inline with their current eCommerce setup.
We worked closely with Armit Wines to understand the direction in which they wanted to take their new design of the website and what their overall aim was for doing it. Each page was meticulously designed before been signed off by the client.
Armit Wines wanted to bring their websites look inline with its competitors whilst also giving it that little extra je ne sais quoi that helped surpass its competition. With an all new timeless design running across the whole site Armit Wines is future proofed and can continue to allow this brand to do what they do best and SELL wine.
One of our personal highlights of the website which there are many is the homepage Featured Producers map. This section provided an engaging and resourceful way in which to highlight producers and let customers know the story behind the wines they drink.
This website redesign when built was going to be implemented into the current eCommerce architecture of the old website. This required us to make sure we were using the latest development best practices which included Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery and once completed the client requested the code to be provided in a zipped folder for them to implement over their old website.
